Celebrating Excellence: Trio World Academy’s Outstanding Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint Results

Trio World Academy is proud to announce the exceptional performance of our students in the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint Assessments 2025. Covering English, English as a Second Language, Mathematics, Science, and Global Perspectives, these assessments serve as a strong indicator of students’ academic progress and readiness for the next stage of learning.
What are Cambridge Checkpoint Assessments?
The Cambridge Checkpoint assessments are internationally benchmarked diagnostic tests taken at the end of Cambridge Lower Secondary (typically Grade 8). They offer schools and families a clear picture of how well students have understood key concepts and developed critical thinking skills. The results not only highlight strengths but also help identify areas for future growth, making them an essential tool for students’ academic journeys.
At Trio World Academy, our students have once again performed exceptionally well, consistently scoring above the global average in all subjects. Several learners achieved full marks, demonstrating not only academic excellence but also deep engagement with their learning. In Global Perspectives, a subject that emphasises collaboration, research and real-world application, we are particularly proud of the many students who earned gold and silver achievements.
These results reflect the combined effort of our entire school community. Our dedicated teachers went above and beyond, providing personalised guidance, extra sessions, and unwavering support. Trio school leaders have created a nurturing, high-expectation environment. Most importantly, our students rose to the challenge with perseverance and focus. They exceeded all our expectations. These are the qualities that will take them far as they step into high school, prepare for IGCSE, IBDP and beyond.
Congratulations once again to our students, teachers, and families. Let us celebrate this moment and continue striving for excellence in everything we do.
