TRIO World Academy students surpass world average in 2022 Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint Results

27 th June 2022, Bangalore: The 2022 batch of Grade 8 from TRIO World Academy students achieved remarkable success this year in their Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint exams scoring above world averages overall.  

English – Out of 22 students who appeared for the exam, 6 of them achieved a score of 5 and above; 1 among them has received a perfect 6. The International Average for English is 3.4 and TRIO’s average is 4.1. 

Maths – Out of 25 students, 14 students obtained a score of 5 and above; 11 students out of them have achieved a perfect score of 6, which was a massive 44% of the class. This makes it an average score of 4.8, which is higher than the International Average of 4.2. 

Science – Out of 25 students, 9 students attained a score of 5 and above, 4 out of them received a perfect 6. The International Average for science is 4.0 and the TRIO average is 4.5. 

Vaibhav Vinod, student of Grade 8 at TRIO, had the distinction of achieving the “Perfect 6” in all 3 subjects.

Mr. Vinod Singh, Head of School, TRIO World Academy congratulated the students, teachers, and parents for yet another success story. He commended them for this achievement, which came after two years of navigating the challenges of a global pandemic. He said that the school looking forward to continuing this trend in the upcoming academic year 2022-23.
