IBDP Bridging programme
IBDP Bridging Programme
Why does my child need a bridge course?
The TWA Bridging Programme
The Bridging Programme at Trio World Academy is designed to accommodate the academic gap between CBSE/ICSE/IGSCE and IBDP. Students will have the opportunity to become familiar with the approaches to teaching and learning in the IB. They will gain sufficient confidence and self-sufficiency to embark on their new educational path.
The Bridging Programme is designed to provide students with an introduction to IB philosophy and ways of learning in preparation for commencing the IB Diploma
Programme
How the programme works
Every student will have scheduled classes with teacher’s subject areas as part of their bridging course for the IB Diploma Programme. This will be an opportunity for students and teachers to gauge understanding of the requisite knowledge that is needed for the start of the Diploma Programme. In addition, teachers will be able to develop an individualised plan to help guide students towards ensuring a successful transition with understanding of content, skills, and concepts within DP courses.
This Bridging Programme will focus on acquiring necessary skills that are intrinsically linked with the IB Learner profile attributes.

If you are in the process of making a change from CBSE / ICSE / IGCSE to IB DP (Class 11), you could anticipate significant changes in the approach to learning.
The IGCSE and IB offer more flexibility with subject combinations. IB further encourages deeper exploration of concepts, discovery, self-awareness, application, and multiple modes of student assessments all year round. Our goal is to give each student across different capabilities and strengths, who are making this transition, the best shot at excelling at the skills demanded by IB DP.
This bridge course is a short and intensive programme which will help our students from CBSE, ICSE or IGCSE backgrounds achieve just that.
