The Trio Student Council is the representative body of students. It promotes the ideal that one can sustain positive changes only through active participation and leadership. Each student leader is expected to be aware of council regulations, maintain integrity, and display good conduct.

Roles & Responsibilities

A council member’s duty is to be acutely aware of student needs & concerns. Their key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining strong communication between the students and the school administration.
  • Mentoring and supporting fellow students.
  • Maintaining discipline among students and enforcing the Code of Conduct.
  • Understanding student needs and concerns, and communicating them clearly to the concerned authorities.
  • Identification of problems, suggesting solutions, and improvements to existing systems.
  • Planning and organising various events.
  • Organising fundraisers for various causes and events.

Council Positions

School Captains

Role models representing the student body in school and external events. Must exhibit impeccable behaviour and discipline.

House Captains

Leading Thames, Nile, Ganges, and Amazon. Encouraging unity, harmony, and healthy competition.

Cultural Captain

In-charge of planning and organising cultural activities and activity clubs of the school.

Sports Captain

Improving sports quality, overseeing teams, fostering competition, and encouraging good training practices.

Academic Captain

Role model for academics. Mentors students to adopt better study and learning practices.

PYP Student Council

Trio World Academy’s dynamic Primary Years Programme (PYP) Student Council elevates student voices and fosters leadership skills at the primary school level. Designed to empower students and promote a sense of ownership within our school community.

Through engaging initiatives and collaborative projects, council members develop essential leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, laying the foundation for a future generation of confident, responsible global citizens.
