“The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive.”
The information technology programme at TRIO equips students with the tools of information technology which help them unlock limitless ways of learning and innovating. Technology helps create cross-curricular links between various fields and can help solve problems in unprecedented ways.
A progressive journey through technology
ICT is introduced in the early years (EY1 - Grade 5). Our labs are equipped with networked workstations featuring the latest educational software, letting children experience powerful new ways to learn.
Students use Apple iPads to spark imagination. Educational apps and multimedia resources break geographical barriers, allowing students to research, connect with peers, and collaborate globally.
Grades 9-12 follow IGCSE & IBDP courses. Fully networked labs allow for advanced data sharing. Students use platforms like Edmodo for communication and analyzing ICT systems.
The students develop an understanding of the implications of technology in society, including social, economic, and ethical uses. They learn how ICT helps solve problems in home, learning, and work environments.
We emphasize both theory and practical application, ensuring students can demonstrate their full range of skills on any hardware platform or operating system.
