Meet the leaders shaping our academic excellence
I am the Head of the Primary Section at Trio World Academy, bringing over 16 years of experience in education and leadership. Having graduated in Engineering and subsequently a post-graduate qualification in Education and Operations Management, I bring a unique blend of academic depth, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to leading the dynamic Early and Primary Years Programme.
As an IB-certified educator and IB Programme Leader, I am an active member of the IB Global Educators Network and regularly evaluate IB schools both in India and internationally. I have successfully led PYP evaluation and authorization processes, working closely with teachers, school leaders, and the International Baccalaureate to strengthen inquiry-based, concept-driven teaching and learning practices aligned with IB standards.
At the heart of my leadership is a deep commitment to students. I prioritise strong relationships with learners, ensuring their voices are heard and their individual needs are supported. I work closely with parents and teachers, valuing open communication and partnership as essential to student success. My leadership is grounded in empathy, clarity, and collaboration, with a strong belief that meaningful relationships are central to effective teaching and learning.
I am the Middle School Coordinator at TRIO World Academy, committed to nurturing the academic, social, and emotional growth of every student. I believe that childhood should be happy, inspiring, and full of opportunities for exploration, and I work tirelessly to ensure that Middle School is a place where students grow into confident, empathetic, and resilient individuals.
Before entering education, I gained valuable international experience in the airline industry, where working with diverse teams and engaging with people from different cultures strengthened my communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills. My volunteer teaching experience in the United Kingdom further shaped my approach, instilling a deep commitment to inclusive, student-centred learning that recognises and celebrates each child’s unique strengths.
In my role on the Senior Academic Leadership Team, I lead curriculum development and alignment across Middle School, mentoring teachers and fostering innovative, collaborative, and holistic learning practices. I am dedicated to building meaningful partnerships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inspiring community that empowers every learner to reach their full potential.
I am a Computer Science graduate with wide international experience in school education and leadership. I began my teaching career in Brunei Darussalam as a GCE Computer teacher. I later moved to Thailand, where I worked as Head of Department for six years, followed by ten years in Indonesia. For the past twelve years, I have been in academic leadership roles, working closely with students, teachers, and school leadership teams.
At present, I serve as the High School and IB Diploma Programme Coordinator at Trio World Academy. I oversee both the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme and am directly in charge of Grades 9 to 12. My role focuses on building strong academic systems while ensuring students grow into confident, responsible, and well-balanced individuals.
My vision is to help Trio World Academy build a strong and well-structured high school programme where Cambridge and IB work together smoothly, preparing students to succeed in higher education and in life as responsible global citizens. I place importance on Approaches to Learning (ATL), academic honesty, reflective learning, and real-world application of knowledge.
An anthropologist by education, I earned my M.Phil degree from the Madras University, Chennai before being redirected to my true passion as an educator. With extensive experience as a Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher at Trio World Academy (2019–2025), I spearheaded curriculum innovation by co-designing PYP Units of Inquiry, facilitating the PYP Exhibition, initiating literacy and vocabulary enhancement programs and implementing differentiated strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
I credit my foray into leadership to the foundational experience I gained as an IB educator. My working style, both in and out of the classroom, centers on individualism, agency, and cooperation. Today, as a Co-Curricular Coordinator, I drive curriculum alignment, support teacher growth, and champion inquiry-based learning.
My leadership experience includes policy drafting, conducting professional development sessions as a PYP Learning Leader, and coordinating whole-school events. My meticulous approach during IB evaluation periods and as a member of the Apple Innovation Team earned me recognition as a trusted instructional leader.
With nearly a decade of experience at IB World Schools, I am an accomplished ATL & Tech Coordinator who brings together strategic insight and innovative pedagogy. I hold an MBA degree and multiple IB certifications, which underpin my reflective, research-informed approach to curriculum design, assessment, and professional learning within the IB Primary Years Programme.
As an Apple Distinguished Educator, Global School Advocate, and AI Trainer, I am deeply committed to advancing purposeful technology integration that enhances learning, accessibility, and agency. I regularly conceptualize, facilitate, and lead professional development experiences for educators, spanning both IB focused pedagogy and Apple-based instructional practices.
My work includes facilitating sessions for educators and school leaders at SAIBSA events, active participation in IB PYP educational and Tech conferences, and sustained engagement with leadership development through courses such as Educational Leadership, Leadership and Followership, and Train the Trainer.
