Established in 2007, TRIO World Academy is an international school in Bengaluru offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge curricula from the Early Years through Grade 12.

Our school brings together students, teachers and families from different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds. We believe this diversity enriches everyday learning, helping students develop new perspectives, build meaningful relationships and understand the world beyond their own experiences.

An International and Multicultural Learning Community

Being an international school is about more than offering an international curriculum. It is also about the people, perspectives and experiences that shape everyday school life.

At TRIO, students learn alongside peers from different countries, languages and cultural backgrounds. Through classroom discussions, collaborative projects, cultural exchanges and school activities, they have opportunities to understand and appreciate different ways of thinking and living.

Learning with Purpose: The IB and Cambridge Approach

At TRIO, learning is designed to encourage students to ask questions, think independently and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Our academic pathway includes the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP).

The IB philosophy encourages students to become curious, knowledgeable, caring and reflective learners. Through enquiry, exploration and meaningful classroom experiences, students develop their ability to communicate, collaborate, think critically and consider different perspectives.

The Cambridge programmes build subject knowledge, analytical thinking and academic skills, preparing students for the demands of higher-level study. Across these learning stages, our educators encourage students to take increasing responsibility for their learning while providing guidance and support suited to their age and individual needs.

We believe academic achievement is important, but so are the skills, attitudes and values students develop along the way.

Positive Relationships and Student Wellbeing

A supportive learning environment begins with positive relationships.

At TRIO, we place importance on mutual respect, communication and understanding between students and teachers. We encourage an environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas and seeking help when needed.

Our pastoral care, counselling and learning support systems aim to address students' academic, social and emotional needs.
