Youngest, prodigious sibling duo creates a new art UNICO world record at TRIO World Academy, with largest abstract painting

Virat Kiran (7) and Chanvitha Sundari (2) created a new UNICO world record by creating an abstract artwork of a whopping 1300 sq. ft. area in a span of merely 3 hours. They are the youngest pair of artists to achieve this feat.

The painting was created by them on 27th November 2021 at Trio World Academy, a Bengaluru based international school.

The painting focused on environmental issues and addressed critical topics like climate change, its causes, and consequences. It was also a call towards recognising ‘Art and Importance of Art Therapy in Everyday Life.’

Virat, a student of the Trio World Academy began painting as early as 6 months and his younger sibling, Chanvitha, followed her brother’s footsteps when she was 3 months old.

Mr. Rajasekaran & Ms. Divya Rajasekaran, parents of the duo are highly supportive of their children’s creative pursuits.

The initiative was done with the guidance of Mr. Naveen KM – Managing Director, TRIO World Academy, Mr. Vinod Singh – Head of Trio World Academy, and Mr. Bishwajeet Bhattacharya – Executive Director, TRIO World Academy, and was backed by the school’s teachers and staff.

The UNICO world record event was mainly sponsored by TRIO World Academy. Craft store Itsy Bitsy was the craft sponsor. Shiva Texyarn Ltd served as the canvas sponsor. The event also held in partnership with Farm to Families (snacks), Ocular Zoom (photography) Onip Lifestyle, Noble Crafts as support partners, MOP (YouTube Partners), Kimaya, and BrightRight as the official art therapy partners.

Design partners for the event included Design Infinity, Space Cult, Habitat Design Studio, White Edge Architects, Tiny Pastels, Studio AJ, Studio Lego, De Hub for Architects, and Design Houzz.

Mr. Naveen KM, Managing Director, TRIO World Academy, applauded the efforts of the young artists and their families. He said, “TRIO has always supported the talents of our students and we go to great lengths to create the atmosphere and infrastructure where such talents can flourish. Virat and Chanvitha have made us all proud with their creativity, talent, and concern for the environment at such a tender age. We are grateful to all the school staff and partners of the event, who came together to make this happen”.
